What ib learner profile words do you have to show to be in my group

In my group you have to show communication because we don't have much time and we need everybody to know and to do something. You also have to be a reflective so you can cooperate and share your good ideas that might even become useful.

What my group is doing for exhibition

For exhibition my group is making paper hats and bags and we cut out pictures from magazines. We cut out pictures for people to decorate their hats and bags. I am in a group with Maya, Angela, Subhya, and Olivia (all girls). My responsibilities in my group are to stay on task.

What we are doing as a class for exhibition

As a class we decided to host a dance relating to our culture. We have planned many exciting activities such as a book drive where we will ask everybody to bring a book that will be donated to a shelter, slideshows that we will make of pictures of us with family and friends, we will also have funny videos that have been recorded and are going to be funny, and we are going to have a hat (boys) and bag (girls) station where you will be able to decorate with the pictures we cut out. What we are going to do relates to who we are because it shows are beliefs and values.

Who we are as a class

As students we make a class. As a class we make up a school. As a school we make up a community. My class is my fiends and the people who keep me motivated. Thats why we are in a class. Without a class who would the teachers have to teach? We are the class that causes the teachers to have jobs.

Connections with other people

Phillip and I are connected because we keep are selves physically healthy almost same ways. Felicia and I are connected because we have similar responsibilities. Alina and I are connected because we value are family (who doesn't). Kevin and I are similar because we celebrate are culture by eating the foods and wearing the clothes.

People who connections have similarities in their life. August and Sameer are the same because they both like basketball. By playing basketball they stay physically healthy. Kevin and Amrith are similar because they try to keep their culture alive. Kevin and Amrith try to keep their culture alive so they won't forget it.

Reflection on esays

I learned that if I keep my culture in my house alive I won't forget about it. By studying for school you will make good grades. I never realized how responsible I am about doing my homework and studying for school. By eating all 3 meals a day that are healthy I can stay healthy. I never realized how physically healthy I keep myself. I can do that by excerciseing and playing all kinds of sports.

I never realized that Amrith was so good about keeping his culture alive. He does this for the same reason I do. i never knew that Tanny liked to swim so much. By going swimming she stays physically healthy. Inever knew Maya had so many family traditions. By doing those family traditions she keeps her culture alive like Amrith and I.

Physical, Mental, Social, and Spiritual

To keep myself physically healthy I play sports and eat right. That helps me keep myself physically healthy.

I keep myself mentally healthy by watching telivision, going to the beach, and by playing a card or board game. Those keep me mentally healthy because they keep me calm, and relaxed.

I keep myself socialy healthy by talking or making new friends. By talking to new people you can make new friends. You can talk to your friends in person, on email, or by phone to invite them over to play.

I keep myself spiritualy healthy by trying to keep my culture alive. I can do that by making and eating my cultures foods or by dressing up and speaking the way my culture does.

Exhibition Paragraphs

What makes me unique (nature of self) is that I like the color blue. My favorite day is my birthday. I like my birthday because I can have cake, presents and all my friends are there. I like to go to the beach on nice, sunny days. I don't like the taste of brussel sprouts, because they are slimy and bitter.

What do I believe in (beliefs)? I believe that you should study for school so that you can do well. You shouldn't lie to anyone anywhere. Don't steal from people, because it doesn't make you look any better. You should always listen to your parents and teachers. I also believe that you shouldn't talk about other people, because it is mean.

What is important to me (values)? Things are obviously important to me are: food, water, air, trees and the world. Those are things that I need to live. Other things that are important to me are my cat/animals and family.

How I keep myself healthy (physical health/personal health). To keep myself physically healthy, I play sports and exercise. To keep myself personally healthy, I eat good food, drink water and eat 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Eating all 3 meals a day will keep you healthy, especially if it is good, nutritious foods.

How I socialize and self manage (social health). I socialize with people and tell them what they should do and not do at times, when needed. By making good decisions and doing all of these things, I can make new friends. I also have fun with my friends. We socialize by doing fun things together that we all enjoy.

What do I do in my culture (spiritual health)? In my culture, we eat, dress, speak and do different activities. I don't disrespect my culture, because it can be offensive to some people. I do these things so I can respect my culture as well as other people's cultures. Even if you have a different way of doing something from someone else, it is always important to respect others.

What do I do around my family and friends (human relationships)? When I am around my family and friends, we talk, have fun and play games together. When I am with my family and friends, we are nice to each other, because of how much we care about each other.

What I do at school, at home and in my neighborhood (communities). At school, we get into conversations that are about the community. At home, we spend time with our neighbors, use email and chat. In the neighborhood, we play sports, eat together, play games, watch movies and enjoy being outside. At home, school and in the neighborhood, we all get along.

Traditions, where my family comes from (culture). I have no religion. I believe in being nice to other people. I celebrate all holidays. I think it is cool to celebrate all holidays, because it gives you a feeling of all the different cultures that created the holidays. Most of my family on my mother's side is from Kansas and my father's side is from Thailand.

What rights could we not live without or should have (rights)? I couldn't live without the right to my opinion or say what I think. I also think that kids at the age of 13 should be able to drive a car.

Me and my parent's responsibilities (responsibilities). My responsibilities are to follow instructions, not argue and do my chores when told. My parents responsibilities are to feed me and to make sure I get an education and to love me.

What does it mean to be human (what it means to be human?) I know what it means to be human, because I am educated, happy with myself and perfect at being who I really am. I am true to myself.
